Insu-Lens Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Insu-Lens ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app and via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Insu-Lens is a mobile application that uses machine learning to forecast glucose trends 2 hours ahead, based on data you log or sync from connected devices. The App is an informational and educational tool. It is not a medical device, is not a substitute for professional medical advice, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The App does not provide medical advice.

All insights, forecasts, and alerts generated by the App are:

• Based on the data you provide and the models we have trained
• Intended to support — not replace — your conversations with your healthcare provider
• Not validated as a clinical decision tool

Always follow the treatment plan prescribed by your doctor or endocrinologist. If the App's insights conflict with your healthcare provider's instructions, defer to your healthcare provider. In a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Insu-Lens. Users under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian review these Terms and the Privacy Policy on their behalf.

By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Keeping your account information accurate

Notify us immediately at support@insu-lens.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

Insu-Lens offers free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription terms, including pricing, renewal, and cancellation, are governed by the store's terms in addition to these.

Refunds are handled per the store's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

The accuracy of forecasts depends on the accuracy of the data you provide or sync. We are not responsible for inaccurate readings from malfunctioning CGM sensors, insulin pumps, or other connected devices. If you believe a connected device is providing inaccurate data, contact the device manufacturer and your healthcare provider.

Always confirm important treatment decisions against your actual device readings and your healthcare provider's guidance.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
• Upload malicious content, attempt to disrupt the service, or access data you are not authorized to access
• Use the App to develop a competing product
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its content

The App, including its design, code, models, content, and branding, is owned by Ignis Algos Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the data you upload or sync into the App.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its forecasts will be accurate.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Ignis Algos Inc. WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR HEALTH-RELATED DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (such as death or personal injury caused by negligence).

You agree to indemnify and hold Ignis Algos Inc. harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

You can stop using the App at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, sections 9–14 of these Terms survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved first by good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action.
