Delete your Insu-Lens account

Recommended: delete from inside the app

The fastest and most secure way to delete your account is from inside the app. We will verify it's really you, then immediately start the deletion process.

1. Open Insu-Lens
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account
3. Confirm by entering your password
4. We'll send a confirmation email within 5 minutes

Alternative: request by email

If you can no longer access the app, send a deletion request from the email address associated with your account to:

support@insu-lens.app

Include in your email:

• The email address you used to create your Insu-Lens account
• The phrase "Please delete my Insu-Lens account and all associated data"

We will verify the request is from the account owner (by replying to your email), then begin deletion. You will receive a confirmation email within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account profile (email, name, age range, diabetes type)
• All glucose readings, insulin doses, meals, and activity data you logged
• All forecasts, insights, and alerts we generated for you
• All app analytics tied to your user ID

De-identified, aggregated data (e.g., "users in our cohort logged X meals per week on average") may be retained indefinitely for research purposes. This data cannot be used to identify you.

What does NOT get deleted

• Records we are legally required to keep (e.g., tax records for paid subscriptions)
• Support emails you sent us (retained per our support retention policy)

Connected devices and integrations

When you delete your Insu-Lens account, we also revoke any access tokens we held for connected services (CGM, insulin pump, Apple Health, Google Fit). Your data on those services is unchanged — you will need to revoke access separately from inside those services if you wish.
