GlucoAI ("we", "our", "us") is a diabetes tracking application developed by Ignis Algos. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the GlucoAI mobile application ("the App").
Health Data (stored locally on your device only): Blood glucose readings, insulin doses, meal logs, carbohydrate counts, and other diabetes-related data you enter into the App. This data is stored in an encrypted local database on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.
Food Photos (processed ephemerally): When you use the AI Food Scanner, your meal photo is sent to Google's Gemini API via a secure Firebase Cloud Function for analysis. The photo is processed in real-time and is not retained by our servers or by Google after analysis is complete.
Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication via Firebase Auth.
Purchase History: If you subscribe to GlucoAI Premium, purchase data is processed by RevenueCat for subscription management.
Device Identifiers: Firebase App Check uses device attestation (Play Integrity on Android) to prevent abuse. No advertising identifiers are collected.
Your health data is stored locally on your device only using the Hive encrypted database. It is never uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly export it. All network communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption.
These services have their own privacy policies governing data use.
